What's On My Face and Nails - Autumn Edition.

It´s time to put away those dewy foundations, say goodbye to the lipglosses (I refuse to be the person that keeps using theirs and then complains every time their hair gets stuck in it thanks to that lovely Autumnal wind), reach for a more hydrating moisturiser and lip balm (#CrackedLips) and pack away the bronzer: Autumn has arrived. For someone who has spent the past year chasing Summer, I'm a little bit sad about this, but oh so happy to finally be digging out my trusty NARS Cruella lip pencil - SO DREAMY.

Okay, this is your official warning, I'm about to big myself up, toot my own horn, etc, etc. - I'm one of those annoying people that has naturally good eyelashes. Like, people comment on them and ask what mascara I'm wearing, only to look seriously pissed off when I tell them I'm not wearing them and they're my natural lashes, so you can probably imagine how people look when they see me a few days later when wearing make-up. My Current Beauty Set-Up + Travel Make-Up Bags.

I've been in Perth for four months now - a long time, and definitely longer than expected. Luckily for me, I landed firmly on my feet and, instead of sofa surfing, in hostels or Air BNBs, I've spent that time at my aunt and uncle's, or at a friend's spare flat, meaning I've had, not just a house, but a home. I'm now back at my aunt and uncle's and will be staying here until I (eventually) leave Perth and they're house is amazing. I have my own part of the house consisting of a large living room, bedroom and bathroom, but the best part is definitely the beauty room that is adjacent to my room. I don't know how I'm going to leave. I'm probably going to have to be dragged to the airport. Let's take a look...

Something New.

Plane tickets to and around Australia cost a lot of money. Though mine were cheaper than usual, it was still hard seeing that much money be taken out of my bank account at once. I also had a momentary panic when I saw my bank statement that month, completely forgetting about my recent splurge. This meant having to cut my spending habits and, though it was hard at first, I've now been in Australia for about four months, but it's only in the past week or so that I've bought an item of clothing & a few beauty products. Since being in Australia, I've barely touched any lip products other than lip balm or my NARS Rifugien Satin Lip Pencil. I used to be a lipstick girl. There was a time when I could spend hours raving about how much I love KIKO lipsticks. I still could, I'm just more about eyeshadows now. There are just so many palettes that I want.
