It's official - I'm OBSESSED with my friends

Hello everyone!

It feels like it's been absolutely ages that I've written or posted a blog post, and I suppose it has. My last post, which was a What's in my Bag, and my next post were written shortly after New Year but left as a draft just in case I didn't find the time to blog much throughout January. I knew this would happen as despite not having anything on yet seeming to having everything on at the same time (I don't know how either) I haven't really found time to do much.

Anyway, after that quick little catch up, let's get on with my blog post! Today's post is all about what I did yesterday. I had the most amazing day with some of my favourite people and, it's official, I am obsessed with my friends. I had a massive smile plastered on my face all day and then came home feeling warm and bubbly inside. It's good to know that even when you have a lot going on elsewhere, your friends are always there to take your mind off of things.

A Second Christmas!

Hello everyone! We are now officially three days into 2014 and I feel like all I've done is lie in my pyjamas in bed and read or blog, which admittedly is exactly what I've done. I'm determined to change this so I am going to spend the rest of today planning some blog posts for January, writing a few of them, taking some photos, sending some emails, ordering birthday and thank you presents for people and maybe even going for a run! Maybe then I will feel like I'm doing something to make 2014 a good year, but I suppose there are another 362 days of the year left so plenty of time to go!

As everyone knows, the Christmas period "officially" ends on the 6th of January, which is actually the day Spain celebrate Christmas, so I plan on milking it for all it's worth until then, hence another Christmassy style post. I had planned on getting up reasonably early this morning, or at least earlier than usual, to go to the post office as I was expecting some Christmas presents that hadn't arrived yet. Unfortunately this didn't happen and I eventually ended up waking up at 1pm so I was rather thankful to find that someone had gone for me and left my presents on the bench.

NYE

Hello everyone! Well, I guess that's it; 2013 is officially over. Is it just me that still doesn't quite believe that and finds it quite difficult to even say 2014 aloud. I'm not looking forward to going back to college as I know I'm going to struggle to write the date. Even in the final days before we broke up for Christmas break I was getting the date wrong, both month and year. The most memorable occasion was when I wrote 2010 on an exam. I'm clearly special.

So, did you all have a wonderful New Year's Eve? Let me know all about it in the comments below! I actually love hearing about how people spend their day, especially when it's the polar opposite to how I spent mine.

Mine was quite low key to be honest. Believe it or not, one of my most memorable moments was going to get some chocolate on the night of the 30th/early morning of the 31st at about 2am only to find this...

Back to blogging and a Christmas Haul!

Hello everyone! I hope you're all well and that you all had a wonderful Christmas and if you don't celebrate Christmas, then I hope you had a wonderful day anyway!

I had planned on doing Blogmas this year, and I think it's safe to say that I failed. Well, I half failed. I managed to complete about half but then exams fully took over and I had time for absolutely nothing, other than studying. I barely even slept. In two weeks, I think I slept an average of four hours each night? I had a grand total of 16 exams in that short space of time and no sooner had I finished exam, it was on to the next one. My life literally consisted of college and exams, home, study until about 1am, sleep until my alarm went off at 6, study and then set off for college at 7:55 before beginning the whole process again. From the time I went to bed until the time I got up, I didn't actually manage to sleep that much. I was shattered but would suddenly jolt awake reciting definitions and formulas in my head. Yes, it does sound like I was going mad and, to be honest, that's exactly what it felt like! I'd love to do blogmas this year, but maybe I will have to write the posts well in advance. Maybe I should start tomorrow! haha

Anyway, now is the perfect time to get back into blogging. I figured a good way to start is to do a bit of a Christmas haul and then tomorrow, I will be uploading another post all about my Christmas and Boxing day. Hope you enjoy!

A Brilliant Weekend with my Favourite People

Having been let out of college a good four hours early today, I decided there was only one way to spend my free time. No, not studying for the 10 looming exams that I have coming up, but a blog post! I've just spent an hour planning this post instead of actually writing it, and I have a feeling it's going to be a bit of a long one!

Birthday Fun and Haul

Hello!

As some of you may know, it was my birthday a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd do a quick blog post on some of my presents and what I got up to. As it wasn't really an "important" birthday, I didn't really feel like going all out (I'm not going to lie, this made me feel really old) so I planned on just doing something low key or having a meal with my family but my friends were having none of that. As my birthday was on a Monday and the day before I went back to college, my friends made it into a bit of a birthday weekend for me. As mentioned in my last blog post, I did a dance performance on the Friday and then on Saturday morning went shopping with Alba. By the time we got back, I had just enough time to pack a bag and have a quick shower before being taken to Alba's house along with a few other friends.

A fun day with my loves. ❤

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I most definitely am, although considering I haven't gone back to college yet, I guess everyday is a weekend for me! Saturday was spent with Saoirse  and Alba. We started the day watching youtube videos, one of which included Tyler Oakley and Marcus Butler playing twister. We started talking about how much fun we used to have playing it as a child so we decided to play! Thankfully, Saoirse had kept hers from many years previously. We started playing all together, with Saoirse failing miserably and falling within the first few rounds. Alba and I managed to hang on for quite a bit longer until we both fell to the floor at the same time!

Saoirse and Alba played next, followed by myself and Saoirse.  At this point, we were all a bit tired and achey (me more so than the others!) so headed upstairs to lounge around, although not before Alba told me to stop "bumming her in the face"! We ended up playing another game. I don't think this one had a name but it's where you pick a subject, such as animals, write it down on a piece of paper and pass it to the person next to you. That person then has to stick it on their head and guess what they are by asking a series of questions. We've playing this game together quite a few times, and a few memories stand out, including Alba thinking that a skunk lived in water and another friend of ours referring to Hermione Granger as "Ermion Range".

Post: Número Uno.

As this is my first post on here, I figured I'd post five facts about myself so that you can all get to know me a little bit better so...
  1. I've broken ten bones in the past eight years. I guess you could say I either have bad luck or that I'm just very fragile. So far I've broken my right wrist, left wrist & elbow, two fingers, three toes, nose and managed to chip a bone in my left wrist. The most recent was the left wrist & elbow as well as chipping my wrist ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Doctors say that other that your back, the elbow is the most painful bone to break and I can definitely confirm that, haha.

   2. I'm a fiercely private person. I rarely tell anyone anything, even the smallest thing. Yeah I know, it's really unhealthy bla bla bla but I guess that's just who I am.

   3. All of my friends seem to know exactly what they want to do with their lives; what they want to study, their future professions, where they want to study, etc. whereas I know absolutely nothing. I used to change my mind every three months when I'd suddenly become really passionate about something and then just dwindle out of it. I'm currently studying medicine but I feel uncertain if that's really what I want to do. I had originally chosen fashion as I spend nearly all of my free time reading fashion magazines, blogs and designing/putting together outfits in my head, but after being told by so many people that it was not achievable and that there are no jobs, I knew that I had to pick another option. (Bad decision?)

  4. One of the worst questions to be asked; Who is your favourite band/singer? or What is your favourite song? My music taste varies greatly, from Lana Del Rey to Jay Z to Rihanna to The XX to Frank Ocean to A$AP Rocky (you get the picture) so I have no idea how people actually have an answer to these questions. Because of my love of music, me and some friends recently decided to go to T in the Park and I can honestly say it was one of the best weekends of my life. I even managed 5 days without a shower!

  5. I adore travelling. So far I've travelled most of the UK, France, Spain and Portugal with friends! Next Summer I hope to travel Europe by train, visiting 30 countries in just under a month. Excited is an understatement.
