I'm all about empowerment and lifting others up, especially when it comes to those closest to me. Take my friend, Diana, for example: She has worked her arse off for the past three years, working seven days a week for months straight, all to achieve one of her biggest dreams: landing a job at Vogue. I could not be more proud of MY ultimate girl boss. Oh, and she also happens to be one of my favourite people in the world, the absolute boss babe that she is. Despite not living as close as we used to, we still make an effort to spend time together, which is why we recently put her new Vogue skills to the test and had a photoshoot and day out in one of our favourite areas of London; Notting Hill. Here are some photos from the day...

I Ruined a D&G Watch - Closet Confidential Tag.
You know when you spend hours and hours watching YouTube with the videos only getting more and more random (because who doesn't want to watch someone paint and then pull off 100 layers of nail polish?) until, suddenly, there's a ray of hope and you find a video from years back of one of your favourite YouTubers? That happened to me recently, and the video in hand was Lily Pebbles' Closet Confidential tag. This tag seemed perfect for everyone like me that seems to have a bit of a shopping/clothes addiction. Admittedly, this could just fuel my addiction that bit more, but I'm not complaining (my bank account is though).

It's Time...
I won't lie, I've had my Autumn fashion and beauty wishlist written for a while now, since probably even before Summer. I'm a virgo. I like to write lists, okay? That, and I have a shopping addiction. Though half of my family live by the mantra of "it's not about wanting it, it's about needing it", I clearly didn't get the memo on it. If I want something, then I obviously need it... I don't think I'll be purposefully following any trends this season, but I do feel like I'll be stocking up on metallics, chokers, mid length skirts and, of course, even more shirts. I've even put together a few images of looks I'll be looking to recreate, because I am very prepared (...and original).

One to Remember.
You can't fly halfway across the world, all the way to Sydney, and not visit what are quite possibly the most touristy destinations in the world: the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I wouldn't say they were my favourite places that we visited while in Sydney, but I do think that they are worth the visit, even if it's just to say you've done it. We opted not to do the bridge climb and chose instead to walk around the botanic gardens, mainly so that we could sit in Mrs Macquerie's chair (which is bloody hard to find and even now I'm certain we didn't actually find it, we were just sat on a random rock), from where we got a great view of the bridge and Opera House together. As it was Winter in Australia, the day started off pretty cold and damp, but the clouds soon burnt out and we were left in short-sleeved t-shirts, so decided to head to the Chinese Garden of Friendship. After all, Meg and I have been best friends for seventeen years, so I'd say we're qualified to go there... While we, like most, did admire the architecture and beauty of the gardens, we did also spend an hour pretending to be Mulan. Good old Disney...

August Favourites Feat. Fruity Fragrances.
Can we appreciate the alliteration in the title of this post please because I honestly think it's something that my Year 7, and potentially Year 12, teacher would have been proud of. Can we also please talk about how it's the end of August and there are only four months left until 2017? I haven't had to write the date this year so I'm still not quite in a 2016 frame of mind, but seriously... 2017?! I don't even want to talk about it, so let's instead talk about what I've been loving this month...

But I NEED Them feat. OOTD.
You know when you see a pair of shoes, immediately fall in love with them and then just can't seem to get them off your mind? Same - and that's exactly what happened to me during a trip to Selfridges, in London, over seven months ago, and I still catch myself thinking about them. Liberty is a dangerous place at the best of times, but this particular trip left me lusting after a 600 GBP pair of shoes, especially given the fact they went with my outfit so well. There have been a few times now when I've added them to my shopping card and almost bought them, but I don't think I can really justify it. I'd probably spend my life worried about someone spilling a drink on them/in a cast after twisting or breaking my ankle. I've also discovered that they're now available in nude and with a pointed toe. A girl can always dream though, right?! Aren't they beautiful?! One day.

A Week in Outfits #1.
Fashion is a big love of mine and something that I definitely don't feature enough of on my blog, especially considering just how much I talk and think about it in everyday life (fact: if you see me looking deep in thought, I'm probably planning future outfits). I've decided that I want to include more personal posts on my blog and that starts with sharing my outfits of the day. I'm thinking I'll do this every couple of weeks so that it doesn't get too boring. There's nothing I love more than seeing OOTD posts on Instagram and people's blogs, so hopefully you'll enjoy mine too!

Leather Jackets & Berry Lips.
Paris is one of my favourite cities in the world. I'm lucky enough to have been able to visit a few times now and also have plans to go back some time this year. No matter where I go, my outfit game always seems to get stepped up. This is probably because most of my time at home is spent in my work uniform or in my pyjamas, so I suppose going away is basically an excuse to actually wear proper clothes. Here are some photos of one of the outfits on my most recent trip to Paris!

Parisian Walks.
Considering just how passionate I am about fashion, it's a subject that rarely features on my blog, but 2016 is the year that that's going to change - starting with this post! Hopefully I'll be posting many more ootd's and also talking about other people's style. These are just just a few shots that my friend took of me on a recent trip to Paris, where we went just before Christmas.

A Work-Out Haul.
Work-out? That's something that, up until recently, I hadn't done in about three years. God only knows how I wasn't the size of a small country considering the amount of food I ate (and still eat). The difference? I know work out on a DAILY BASIS, hence the new gear.

Statement Pieces For Autumn.
My addictions to shopping, fashion and Pinterest are really getting out of hand. In a way, they sort of go hand in hand. After all, four of my favourite Pinterest boards include Fall, Winter, Summer and Spring fashion inspiration. Here are a few pieces that have cropped up time and time again in the Fall board, perfect for the next few months...

Haul #4.
Ah, the fourth and final haul. Well, for now, at least. Give me a few weeks and I'm sure I'll have a few more things to share with you. I don't know what got into me. I was just sick of my new wardrobe and felt like I needed to change my style - both with statement pieces and just day to day items. Let's look at the final few, shall we?

Haul #2.
Remember when, about two weeks ago, I shared a haul with you and mentioned the fact that I might have spent far too much money on clothes recently? Well, I feel like that won't change and that I will continue spending far too much money, so I guess it's probably for the best to get all the hauls out the way. Like I mentioned in my last post, it'll make me feel better and my Mother less inclined to confiscate my debit card, despite me being a fully-functioning adult.

Flashback Friday #5.
If you need cheering up or are just feeling a bit down, then you've definitely come to the right place. Sometimes, when I'm sad, I think about the moment I'm about to share with you. I relive it in my head over and over again, until I am crying from laughter. To sum it all up: when you and a friend pose with a stick and an olive, tell her to duck before actually hitting it. Chances are, her reflexes might be a bit slow and you might hit her on the head, resulting in an utterly marvelous moment like this. And, if you look carefully, you can see the olive bouncing off her head...

A Short But Very Expensive Haul.
I like to consider myself to be quite responsible, someone that says no to buying a fedora hat because 'I'd never wear it' and a 80€ jumper from Topshop because 'it's just too much money'. This is my way of saving money. Well, it is until I see something that I really like and just think 'f*ck it' to myself. Here are some things that I've bought recently...

Wishlist: The Clutch Bag Edition.
Something that I've been loving has been clutch bags, which, surprisingly, I don't actually own any off. I own quite a few handbags or ones that rest on my shoulder, but no clutches. This is something that, in my eyes, really needs to change, so here's five bags that I've been lusting after recently...
