University Life in Photos.

University can be a daunting process for many - it certainly was for me. I was SO anxious for about a week before my arrival. After all, I was about to enter the next stage of my life, live with and get to know complete strangers, as well as heading back into education after having been travelling for so long. But I needn't have worried. I completely lucked out my flatmates, love my course and have made some incredible friends who I know I will be friends with for life. Yeah, there will be drama and stress, but that's understandable in a new environment and when there are so many strong personalities around. It's important to put the hard work in but there will still be plenty of time for lots of fun (and lots and lots of drinking. Don't forget to take paracetamol - it'll be needed for the hangovers and potential bruises that you have no idea how you got!). Here are some photos from my time at university...

They Know Me So Well!

Okay, I'll admit it, I am an addict. A stationary addict. Pens, pencils, magazine holders... you name it, I want it. I think my biggest vice would have to be notebooks. My obsession with stationary didn't exactly go unmissed when I was in Australia, with my aunt and friend, both of whom I lived with on separate occasions, noticing pretty much straight away. This was probably due to the fact that I dragged them both into Kikki K, AKA my favourite store in the world, at every given opportunity. I'm actually pretty glad they noticed because, if they hadn't, I wouldn't have received some of the amazing leaving gifts from them that I did. These gifts just happened to include a laptop (in a Kikki K bag) and I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried. Here's what I received...

The Best Day.

You know when you visit a new place and just know that you will visit again and again, and never tire of it? That's how I felt about Seville. I grew up in Malaga and thought that Seville would be similar, and it definitely was, but it also might have been a bit better. I love going to the beach, but historic towns and cities are definitely more my thing. Seville is home to some of the most beautiful architecure and historic sites I have ever seen. You immediately know that if they film Game of Thrones there, then it's going to be pretty special. The best part? I got to experience it with some of my favourite people. If you're ever there, you need to visit Alcazar. Word of advice: don't hold hands with your favourite person and walk/skip/run down the alter at the cathedral with your favourite person, pretending you're getting married, because they will threaten to kick you out and also bar you from one of the oldest cathedrals in the world. Probably wasn't my finest moment. The best part was seeing my History & Music teacher, both of whom came with us, getting extremely angry as they defended us and the security guard slowly going redder and redder, not realising that there was Chinese tourist behind him doing ballet with an extremely long selfie stick in her hands. SERIOUSLY?!

The Happiest Place On Earth.

This blog post may or may not be inspired by me having just hysterically, ugly face sobbed à la Kim Kardashian my way through Toy Story 3. I've seen it multiples time but it still gets me. It's also one of only three films to ever have made me cry. SO EMOTIONAL. Watching Toy Story 3 made me cast my mind back to last November, when I spent a day at the happiest place on Earth - Disneyland - with some of my favourite people. We spent the day running around, going on rides, meeting characters, doing plenty of shopping and basically just being big kids. Ride highlights include Ratatouille, Finding Nemo & Star Wars, probably due to the fact that they're three of my favourite films. The worst was the haunted house. Each time I've been on it, it's broken down and we've been trapped inside! I must be cursed. Either way, I wouldn't have changed a second of it for the world and I'm so excited to head back (hopefully soon!). We even witnessed a proposal in front of the tower, though one of my friends thought it was a protest, which he made known to everyone. We ended the day watching the firework display. As cliche as it sounds, it really was a magical day.

Meg.

Meg is my best friend. She has been since we were two years old, so I think you could say we know almost everything about each other. After all, it's not everyday that you can say that you've been friends with someone for seventeen years. Her mam happens to be my mam's best friend too, so it works well when they come out to visit us, which is exactly what they did this past week. Here are some photos from our trip...

Haul #3.

I included OOTD's in the last two hauls but won't be in this one. Something tells me that none of you want to see me in very high heels and a bikini. After all, it's not exactly a good look is it? On second thoughts, don't answer that. This haul also includes quite a bit of make-up and I'm not the kind that wears make-up to the beach.

Secrets and Surprises.

Hello, everyone! I'm not really sure how to start this post. When bloggers or vloggers take a break, they just stop posting and tend to warn their readers before it's about to happen. I, on the hand, took a completely different route...

Instagram Update #4.

It's been a long while since I did one of these, with the last one being published way back at the beginning of September. Now, I don't mean to scare you, but that was a massive six months ago *gulps*. Since it's been so long, there are obviously quite a few photos to share, which is why I'm only going to share the best, or the most memorable. To check out the rest of them, you can click here. I'm a massive fan of Instagram, so will no doubt check your accounts out too.

Flashback Friday #5.

If you need cheering up or are just feeling a bit down, then you've definitely come to the right place. Sometimes, when I'm sad, I think about the moment I'm about to share with you. I relive it in my head over and over again, until I am crying from laughter. To sum it all up: when you and a friend pose with a stick and an olive, tell her to duck before actually hitting it. Chances are, her reflexes might be a bit slow and you might hit her on the head, resulting in an utterly marvelous moment like this. And, if you look carefully, you can see the olive bouncing off her head...

Flashback Friday #4.

Today's Flashback Friday post is in celebration of my brother's birthday, which is in two days time. It's so weird to think that I spent the majority of my childhood playing with him, despite him being some 10 years old, and that he know has a house and family of his own. I'll move on and let you all just enjoy the photos before I spiral into an existential crisis...

Outfits For Valentines Day.

Valentine's Day doesn't always have to be about spending time with your other half. Yes, it's nice, but I actually spent last year with some girlfriends. We got dressed up, went out for some food and simply enjoyed eachother's company. So, whether you're spending it with your other half, with friends or even by yourself, why not still get a bit dressed up?!

Christmas Make-Up Review.

Whether it be brushes, nail varnish, palettes, etc., there's no denying I was very lucky and got a lot of make-up for Christmas. My love of all things beauty related is only growing, so I'd like to feature a bit more beauty on my blog, starting with this small review on the make-up I got for Christmas! I've been progessively testing it out throughout the past two months and - good news - it's basically all positive.

Flashback Friday #3.

We're currently in the first week of February and I am very much craving Summer. Yes, I may be as pale as Casper, The Friendly Ghost, meaning I spend most of the time inside, but it's still nice to know that the sun is out there shining. After all, I only have single glazing, so I'm pretty sure enough Vitamin D gets through them, right?

Flashback Friday #1.

I'm so excited to be bringing Flashback Friday back! It was so fun to look back on so many memories from the past few years and share them with you all. It was great finding photos that I'd otherwise forgotten about. Here's the first edition of 2015...

Christmas Presents.

This is my final blog post before I go back to college, sob. I'm just not ready for the stress of it all. I want to stay at home and continue eating vast amounts of Quality Streets. As I'm not quite ready to let go of Christmas, I'm going to share my presents with you!

2015.

Well the title of this post certainly felt weird to write. Yes, we are now firmly into 2015 and closer to 2020 than 2010. Feeling old yet? Me too. For the first post of the year, I thought we'd talk about a bit of a lighter subject and that is what will be happening on my blog throughout the year.

December in Photos.

This is a scheduled post as I am currently probably under a lot of blankets and feeling sorry for myself, having eaten one too many pigs in blankets. I'm not sure when I'll wake up and it's possible that I may sleep through the New Year. Jokes aside, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that it was everything you wished for. I'm going to save my Christmas post for some time in January as there are still presents waiting to be exchanged. Instead, I'm going to be sharing a few photos that I've taken throughout the month of December. They may make you want to relive the month all over again.

Went ice-skating. Thought I was going to die.

The Christmas Tag - Blogmas Day 24.

Boo, sob, hiss and all of the inbetween - today is the final day of blogmas. Yes, it's Christmas Eve! I will actually be celebrating Christmas on Boxing Day (I'm devestated) but that doesn't mean the final day of Blogmas has to be any less festive! I'm going to be doing a Christmas Tag!

July - December 2014 Memories - Blogmas Day 23.

Having written my January - June 2014 favourites over two weeks ago, and now that 2014 is officially coming to a close, I think it's time to look back on July - December. This selection of photos are definitely a lot more Summer based, so be warned - you might just miss the warmer months after seeing this!

Flashback Friday #13 - Blogmas Day 19.

So, I'm guessing that today is the last edition of Flashback Friday. Well, it is for now. There is a chance that I will be bringing it back in 2015. I'd like to be able to do more features and think this is a fun one to do, so watch this space!
