Top 5 Nail Polishes for Summer.

Remember when, a few days ago, I mentioned that I was slightly obsessed with stationary? Yeah, well, I happen to feel the same way about nail polish. I own a massive box of it and, when I headed off on my travels, it was suggested to me (I was vehemently told) to only take four with me, and that decision was hard. Now that I'm back at home, I am more than making the most of all of my nail polishes. I think it's safe to say that my nails will be needing plenty of TLC in a few weeks time. Here are the top five that I've been wearing and will be wearing most over the next few Summer months...

Nail Polish: The Collection.

It's safe to say that I own a lot of nail varnish, and that's after having a clear out. I have a giant box and a big bag full of the stuff. I'm not one of those people that buys or collects things and then never uses them though. I always have both my toe and finger nails painted. Winter Nail Polish Picks.

Two months ago, I posted my Autumn nail varnish picks and it's safe to say that they were definitely the nail varnishes I wore most throughout the Autumn months, especially the electric blue colour. Autumn is now gone and we're firmly into Winter which, fashion and beauty wise, is probably one of my favourite seasons. I tried to get it down to just five, like I did with my Autumn picks, but it was impossible, so this post could be a long one. Oh, and expect to see a lot of KIKO in there...

Autumn Nail Polish Picks.

As I've already shared with you my Autumn Essentials and my Autumn make-up, I thought I'd share my top 5 Autumn nail varnishes. I use nail varnish to express myself - adding a pop of colour to an otherwise monochrome outfit or a neutral colour to a bright outfit. Like clothes, I like my nail varnish to paint my mood (pun not intended) and I always have my nails panted. I'm not ashamed to admit that my collection is rather large. Due to travelling, a lot of my nail varnishes are back at home and, boy was it hard to pick out the ones to bring with me. I did it by season. I'll be away all of Autumn and most of Winter, so I knew that I wouldn't want lots of bright colours.

September Favourites.

Up until now, I've found monthly favourite posts to be a bit of a challenge. Living on a student budget, I've never really gone through enough beauty, skincare or fashion products to share with you each month, but that's about to change. I have no idea how, but I've really started to rotate my beauty products (and buy more), meaning new favourites and plenty to share with you all. Let's have a look at what I loved throughout September...

Haul #3.

I included OOTD's in the last two hauls but won't be in this one. Something tells me that none of you want to see me in very high heels and a bikini. After all, it's not exactly a good look is it? On second thoughts, don't answer that. This haul also includes quite a bit of make-up and I'm not the kind that wears make-up to the beach.

Recent and Up-Coming Releases.

2014 was a great year for make-up. There were so many new releases, rereleases and I personally found some products that I absolutely loved. 2015 obviously has a lot to live up to but, with photos of some upcoming collections released to the public, it looks like it just might do it.

2015.

Well the title of this post certainly felt weird to write. Yes, we are now firmly into 2015 and closer to 2020 than 2010. Feeling old yet? Me too. For the first post of the year, I thought we'd talk about a bit of a lighter subject and that is what will be happening on my blog throughout the year.

The Edit - NYE Nails.

If you cant wear something sparkly on NYE, when can you? All girls love a bit of glitter, we just like to incorporate it into our looks In different ways. While some attend a NYE bash looking like they wouldn't look out of place on a Christmas tree, others, such as myself, like to be a little more subtle.

Mani Monday #14 - Blogmas Day 22.

Are you ready for the final edition of Mani Monday and what's actually final edition of the blog features that I've been doing for the past five months?! Yes, they are all coming to an end! I'm excited to come out with new posts, try different things and new features all ready for 2015! Wow, it feels really weird writing that.

Mani Monday #13 - Blogmas Day 15.

Nothing says Christmas quite like a bit of red nail varnish with some glitter thrown into the mix, does it?! We are officially in December which means everyone is all about the reds, greens and golds (and the chocolate!). A red nail was an obvious choice for December, and I added the nail polish featured in the previous Mani Monday post onto my fourth finger to make it that bit more festive! 

Mani Monday #9

I'm currently finding it very hard to believe that I am now half way through the Mani Monday feature that I plan on running until Christmas. It's amazing to think that I started it late June and we're now more than half way into October. Time really is flying!

Autumn Essentials.

About a month ago now, I wrote a post on my Summer favourites. I debated whether to write a similar post for Autumn and to make it a seasonal feature, but instead I've decided to publish this kind of post at the beginning of each season, making it more of an essentials post.

I'm probably the last blogger to do an empties post. Though it may not be the most original post, I personally enjoy reading posts like this and know a lot of you do too! I obviously don't go through the amount of products that big beauty bloggers do, or the average person really, as I don't have the money to try out multiple products at one time. Instead, I buy it and use it until it's all gone.

Mani Monday #5

Time for the fifth edition of Mani Monday! This week's post features my latest nail varnish purchase, which is fastly becoming the new favourite in my ever growing collection. Can we all just take a moment to talk about how pretty this is? For some reason, it reminds me of a clear night sky, full of twinkling stars. Corny? Very. Though in some lights the glitter doesn't show up quite as much as it does in the bottle, in most it truly does, making it even better than it already is. I have a feeling that this definitely won't last long, and that it will need to be repurchased ASAP!
