September Wishlist: It's My Birthday!

I feel like 20, which I will be I turning in just 16 days, is an acceptable age to have a month long birthday. I don't quite know how I'll top that when I turn 21, but I'll be sure to give it a go. I absolutely adore celebrating and planning other people's birthdays, I'm just not that much of a fan of my own, mainly because the thought of getting older terrifies me. I know most people are scared about turning 30, but 20 seems just as scary. Just the thought of going from 19 to 20 seems like such a big step. I just don't want to get rid of that one, I want to hold onto it forever... Though I would still like some presents. 😎

Let's start off by doing a little introduction. This post is about Amita, one of my best friends. We met on Tumblr five years ago and, what could have turned out to be a complete and utter disaster, turned into one of the best decisions I have ever made. We spoke everyday for five years; sharing secrets, goals, fears and everything in between. We became best friends, despite not even having ever met. After my graduation, I had planned on moving to London before moving on to Australia. My accommodation fell through at the last minute and Amita immediately said I could move in with her. 

Birthday Haul.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! Well, okay, it's not... But it was almost a month ago. I turned 19 and I now feel incredibly old. I love other people's birthdays, I'm just not a massive fan of my own. The whole existential crisis thing probably has something to do with that. I actually spent my final teen birthday sitting university exams - fun times! Thankfully, my birthday was made a lot better by some lovely birthday presents. Some are actually yet to arrive/be picked up, but I thought it would be nice to share what I've received with you so far anyway...

5 Things On My Bucket List.

There are a lot of things I hope to do in my life. There are the obvious choices on my bucket list like to be happy, have a family and to accomplish everything I want career wise, but there are also a few of your not so typical options on there too.

Birthday Wishlist.

I can't believe that in less than two weeks, I will be turning 19, my final birthday as a teen. Getting old scares me anyway, but turning 19?! Well, that's just petrifying. I won't actually be spending my birthday doing anything special, instead I will be spending it sitting university entry exams. Fun times. Considering the way I'll be celebrating. I figured I might as well make a good birthday wishlist so that I get some great presents. After all, you're only 19 once...

Flashback Friday #4.

Today's Flashback Friday post is in celebration of my brother's birthday, which is in two days time. It's so weird to think that I spent the majority of my childhood playing with him, despite him being some 10 years old, and that he know has a house and family of his own. I'll move on and let you all just enjoy the photos before I spiral into an existential crisis...

Birthday Haul.

Despite turning 18 over two months ago now, it's taken me until now to do a birthday haul. This is because I was still waiting on one present from my friends, Saoirse and Alba, which, having been told it was worth the wait, I wanted to wait to show you. Like most big birthdays, my main present from most people was money, but I still thought I'd show you what else I got!

As it was my 18th (WAH!) birthday this past week, I decided that this week's Flashback Friday should be all about last year's birthday. My final birthday before legally being an adult. The final birthday where, in England, I couldn't go out and get smashed (not that I'd do that anyway). The final one where... anyway, you get the picture (LITERALLY.
