Christmas Fun

Hello everyone! I hope you're all well that you've had a wonderful few days full of Christmas spirit. I'm still coming to terms with the fact that we know have a whole year to wait before celebrating Christmas again. On a positive note, at least we still have a few lazy December days and New Years Eve to look forward to.
Today's blog post is all about what I did on both Christmas and Boxing Day, what I ate and, most importantly, what I wore!

I'll start with Christmas Eve night. My Mam spent the majority of the day cooking, both for us and for some clients whereas I spent the majority of the day deciding what I was going to wear on Christmas day and having a bit of a pampering session. Completely different days but at least we were both doing things we love! Thankfully I didn't have to wrap any presents as they'd all been either bought online or wrapped and put under the tree about two agos. My Mam on the other hand woke up at about 10am on Christmas morning and realised that she hadn't wrapped my Christmas presents. I wasn't impressed, so not impressed in fact that I made her go straight back to her room and wrap them before she had the chance to do anything else. What a Scrooge, ey?!

Back to blogging and a Christmas Haul!

Hello everyone! I hope you're all well and that you all had a wonderful Christmas and if you don't celebrate Christmas, then I hope you had a wonderful day anyway!

I had planned on doing Blogmas this year, and I think it's safe to say that I failed. Well, I half failed. I managed to complete about half but then exams fully took over and I had time for absolutely nothing, other than studying. I barely even slept. In two weeks, I think I slept an average of four hours each night? I had a grand total of 16 exams in that short space of time and no sooner had I finished exam, it was on to the next one. My life literally consisted of college and exams, home, study until about 1am, sleep until my alarm went off at 6, study and then set off for college at 7:55 before beginning the whole process again. From the time I went to bed until the time I got up, I didn't actually manage to sleep that much. I was shattered but would suddenly jolt awake reciting definitions and formulas in my head. Yes, it does sound like I was going mad and, to be honest, that's exactly what it felt like! I'd love to do blogmas this year, but maybe I will have to write the posts well in advance. Maybe I should start tomorrow! haha

Anyway, now is the perfect time to get back into blogging. I figured a good way to start is to do a bit of a Christmas haul and then tomorrow, I will be uploading another post all about my Christmas and Boxing day. Hope you enjoy!

Favourite memories - July to December

☃ ❄

Hi, everyone! Today's post is the second round of my 2013 memories, this time ranging from July to November. As we're only a third of the way through December and I'm currently drowning in exams, I haven't actually taken that many photos this month, hence why December will not be included in this post. The only photos I've taken are ones' that I have used in a blog post or of my Christmas tree. I'm sure that come January, I will be filling you in with all my December memories.

2013 - Favourite memories - January to June

☃ ❄

Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a lovely December and getting into the Christmas spirit. If not, then why the hell not?! Get excited!! Haha

Today's post is going to be all about some of my favourite memories of 2013, from January through to June. I'm some one that loves to take photos and document memories, but this post was actually a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. I guess having so many photos and so many files on my laptop, as well as so many good memories this year made it hard to pick out just a few choice moments but I've done my best to narrow it down! No doubt the minute I click publish, I will suddenly remember so many brilliant things that happened this year that I'd forgotten about, but that's just sod's law I guess. Anyway, here goes:

The Beginning of my Christmas List ☃ ❄

I may be slightly early with this one, and to be honest it's probably the first time I've ever been early for anything. Seriously, I was even two weeks late to my own birth. Anyway, it's currently the 2nd of November, which means we can now officially get excited for Christmas! Halloween is out the way, and yes there's still bonfire night if you live in the UK and Thanksgiving if you live in America but let's be honest, nothing will ever beat Christmas. I felt the first inklings of excitement about three weeks ago, which resulted in me painting my nails in a sparkly burgundy colour and watching every episode of Tanya Burr's Vlogmas'. I'm guessing this isn't normal considering it was only the middle of October? As I am now considering slightly too old for trick o treating, it seems to have taken a bit of the fun out of Halloween. I spent this Halloween at my house with friends, where we ate a ridiculous amount of sweets and chocolate, watched films and had a girly sleepover. It wasn't very Halloweeny, but it was lovely all the same.

☠☠
Now I'm ready to open the first window of my advent calender, make some paper snowflakes and light my Christmas candles please. Because I'm so excited about Christmas (did I mention that already?...) I decided that my first blog post of November should be my Christmas list. As there's a month and three weeks to go, there will no doubt be a updates to this post...

This list will mainly consist I've been lusting after for a while and things that I am extremely tempted to buy. Admittedly I'd probably buy them all if it wasn't for the thought of my holiday to New York permanently etched onto my brain. Who needs to go to university and get a degree when you can go to New York?

A Brilliant Weekend with my Favourite People

Having been let out of college a good four hours early today, I decided there was only one way to spend my free time. No, not studying for the 10 looming exams that I have coming up, but a blog post! I've just spent an hour planning this post instead of actually writing it, and I have a feeling it's going to be a bit of a long one!

September Favourites and October Wishes.

I think we can all agree that September absolutely flew by. For most people, Septembers brings the return to school, college or university, the first signs of Autumn and the ever growing build-up to Halloween. September has been surprisingly good for me. I've made new friends, got even closer to old ones, had some unforgettable moments and even made this blog! With the end of yet another month passing us by comes the never ending spree of "monthly favourites" vlogs, blog posts and tumblr tags, so I figured I'd jump on the bandwagon and do my own. Yes, I am being a sheep with this one. I won't necessarily be doing a monthly favourites every month, as I don't tend to branch out and try different products very often (instead preferring to stick to what I know and love) but let's just see how it goes.

Birthday Fun and Haul

Hello!

As some of you may know, it was my birthday a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd do a quick blog post on some of my presents and what I got up to. As it wasn't really an "important" birthday, I didn't really feel like going all out (I'm not going to lie, this made me feel really old) so I planned on just doing something low key or having a meal with my family but my friends were having none of that. As my birthday was on a Monday and the day before I went back to college, my friends made it into a bit of a birthday weekend for me. As mentioned in my last blog post, I did a dance performance on the Friday and then on Saturday morning went shopping with Alba. By the time we got back, I had just enough time to pack a bag and have a quick shower before being taken to Alba's house along with a few other friends.

What I've Been Up To Recently

Hi guys! Some of you may have noticed that I haven't blogged in almost a month. This is down to a few reasons, but mainly going back to college so having a bit of work to do and MY CAMERA'S BROKEN! I'm devastated to say the least. For the past four years, I have taken it everywhere with me and documented everything, and now that it's gone I feel like I've lost a limb haha. It broke a few days before me my birthday, when I had numerous days out and blog posts planned so just my luck really. It's even more annoying because if it had broken sooner, I could have asked for one for my birthday. I'm struggling without it so I am considering dipping into my university/New York funds as I'm not sure I can wait until Christmas! All photos in this post were taken on a mobile, so I apologise for the poor quality. Trust me, none of you will find it anywhere near as annoying as I do haha! On a more serious note, before my camera broke I was actually getting into blogging and getting a fair amount of views (a fair amount for someone who'd only been blogging for a month anyway) so when I could no longer upload, those views obviously dwindled. Hopefully they'll go back up again as I continue to blog, as I'm enjoying this much more than I thought I would. Anyway, as it's my first post in a while, I thought I'd do a quick catch-up of a few things I've been  up to recently. :)

A fun day with my loves. ❤

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I most definitely am, although considering I haven't gone back to college yet, I guess everyday is a weekend for me! Saturday was spent with Saoirse  and Alba. We started the day watching youtube videos, one of which included Tyler Oakley and Marcus Butler playing twister. We started talking about how much fun we used to have playing it as a child so we decided to play! Thankfully, Saoirse had kept hers from many years previously. We started playing all together, with Saoirse failing miserably and falling within the first few rounds. Alba and I managed to hang on for quite a bit longer until we both fell to the floor at the same time!

Saoirse and Alba played next, followed by myself and Saoirse.  At this point, we were all a bit tired and achey (me more so than the others!) so headed upstairs to lounge around, although not before Alba told me to stop "bumming her in the face"! We ended up playing another game. I don't think this one had a name but it's where you pick a subject, such as animals, write it down on a piece of paper and pass it to the person next to you. That person then has to stick it on their head and guess what they are by asking a series of questions. We've playing this game together quite a few times, and a few memories stand out, including Alba thinking that a skunk lived in water and another friend of ours referring to Hermione Granger as "Ermion Range".
