Birthday Haul.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! Well, okay, it's not... But it was almost a month ago. I turned 19 and I now feel incredibly old. I love other people's birthdays, I'm just not a massive fan of my own. The whole existential crisis thing probably has something to do with that. I actually spent my final teen birthday sitting university exams - fun times! Thankfully, my birthday was made a lot better by some lovely birthday presents. Some are actually yet to arrive/be picked up, but I thought it would be nice to share what I've received with you so far anyway...

Planning a Party - Novum Crafts.*

I set off for London in six days time, so most people would consider now the ideal time to plan a party - I know I did. I had planned on throwing a leaving party to say goodbye to my friends. I had everything planned; the food, the decorations, who I have going to invited... Thanks to the lovely people at Novum Crafts*, I even had a costume. I ended up not throwing the party - I think it had something to do with the fact I couldn't bare to say goodbye, even if it was going to be for a short period of time. Even so, I thought I'd share with you some of the ideas I had for the party...

September Favourites.

Up until now, I've found monthly favourite posts to be a bit of a challenge. Living on a student budget, I've never really gone through enough beauty, skincare or fashion products to share with you each month, but that's about to change. I have no idea how, but I've really started to rotate my beauty products (and buy more), meaning new favourites and plenty to share with you all. Let's have a look at what I loved throughout September...

New Beginnings.

I think it's time we had a chat. For a while now, I haven't been very happy with my blog. I think that, along with having loads of exams, is the reason I've been dipping in and out of it... But that's all about to change! I'm about the head off on a gap year, so what better time than to start again?

Cultural Appropriation.*

Cultural appropriate. It's a bit of a tricky topic, isn't it? Not really one you'd typically find on my blog,  I know, but it's one that I happen to talk about quite a lot in day to day life. Admittedly, those conversations tend to lead to arguments as no one can agree to disagree and people feel so strongly about the subject. Is it okay to wear bindis? Or how about Indian headdresses? I think there is a final line between demoralising someone's culture and respecting it.

There are a lot of things I hope to do in my life. There are the obvious choices on my bucket list like to be happy, have a family and to accomplish everything I want career wise, but there are also a few of your not so typical options on there too.

Fun fact - tomorrow is my birthday and I will be spending it sitting university entry exams. Yes, happy birthday to me! This post was obviously written in advance due to the fact I'm currently cramming like a maniac but, hey, you can't say I don't try. The weather is officially changing and I'm just about ready to change my beauty products, as well as some items in my wardrobe. Birthday Wishlist.

I can't believe that in less than two weeks, I will be turning 19, my final birthday as a teen. Getting old scares me anyway, but turning 19?! Well, that's just petrifying. I won't actually be spending my birthday doing anything special, instead I will be spending it sitting university entry exams. Fun times. Considering the way I'll be celebrating. Ah, the fourth and final haul. Well, for now, at least. Give me a few weeks and I'm sure I'll have a few more things to share with you. I don't know what got into me.
