Mani Monday #3

It's time for the third post in one of three of my new blog features! Be sure to take a look.

You may have noticed that all nail varnishes featured so far have been really bright, popping colours that really catch your eye. This is because I tend to wear quite dark coloured colours (a habit I'm trying to get out of!), especially in the Winter, so I love to add a pop of colour with nail varnish, a bag, accessories or just some small, minor detail that is still capable of completely transforming an outfit. It's very rare for me to wear a black or dark coloured nail polish, so be sure to expect plenty more bright nails!

Guest Post and Festival Essentials.

Hello, everyone! A bit of a different post for you all today as the majority of it won't actually be written by me. Instead, it will be written by the lovely Ariadna. We've followed each other and have been talking for a while now so we decided to a guest post on each other's blogs! Flashback Friday #2

Just a quick tag post for you all today! I've seen both the lovely Lily Pebbles and Sammi from Beauty Crush do this so thought I'd give it a go. They both did it on their YouTube channels but, considering I don't have one of them, I decided to do it on here. Enjoy!

Cara Delevingne for Chanel AW14.

It seems that Alexander Wang isn't the only designer brand taking more of a sportier take on fashion, with Chanel recently unveiling their ad campaigns for AW14, featuring the model of the moment, Cara Delevingne, in a boxing ring.  Cara's certainly been busy as of late, appearing in ad campaigns for Burberry, DKNY, YSL, Mulberry Balmain and now Chanel... Did I miss anything out?! My god is that girl cracking up a resume.

Mani Monday #2

Time for week 2 of Mani Monday! Are you ready? This week's choice of nail polish is very different to last weeks. It's a bit more subtle, more girly and very glittery. It's in the shade number 260, is available worldwide and is one of the best nail varnishes I own, due to it being really long lasting. It's also incredibly difficult to get it to chip - believe me, I've tried. I've genuinely completely redecorated my room, lifted heavy furniture, plus stables out of walls, etc. with this one, just a mere few hours after I painted it with just one coat, and it still did not chip. Impressive or what?! Admittedly, that is how I'd describe all of KIKO's nail varnishes but this one is definitely up there with the best. I'm a fan!

Instagram Update: Number 2.

I follow a few people that do Instagram updates and I personally love reading through them all. I enjoy looking through their photos and seeing the different ways people edit their instagrams, as well as reading a bit of a story behind the photo, this way learning a bit of detail about it. I too have actually done of these posts so, as you all seemed to enjoy it so much, I thought it was time to do another one! Nickelson Wooster

There's an elephant in the room bigger than my obsession with Céline handbags and that's the fact that no one seems to have heard or be talking about Nickelson Wooster. Nickelson, who describes himself as an old midget queen who had some good fortune along this way, is fashion blogger and tumblr addict, has worked as a buyer and design director in multiple chains, was the previous the men's fashion director for Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman and is the self-confessed style and tattoo inspiration of none other than Mr. David Beckham himself. Pretty good for a man who is relatively unheard of in the World of media nowadays, something that boggles my mind considering he has a over 200,000 Instagram followers and an army of Tumblr followers behind him. You should all follow him just for the photos of dreamy male models, if nothing more.

Wardrobe Wednesday #1

Hello, everyone! Today is the first edition of the third of my new blog features 'Wardrobe Wednesdays', where I'm basically going to show you one of my favourite outfits of the week.

The Very Inspiring Blogger Awards.

As mentioned in a post published a few days ago, I was awarded two Liebster blogs (read on that here) and also for a Very Inspiring Blog Award. I hadn't actually heard of the latter but I was honoured all the same. I want to say thank you to the amazing Dali Rae for nominating me. Be sure to check out her blog!

The Liebster Award

During the time that I took out from blogging to study for exams, I was nominated for two Liebster Awards AND for a The Very Inspiring Blogger Awards (more on that in a different post soon!). For those of you that don't know, the Liebster Award is awarded by your readers, and it tends to go to up and coming blogs. I have actually received one in the most, so was and still am honoured to have been awarded another two!

Flashback Friday; Week 1.

Time for the second brand new feature on my blog! The title is pretty self explanatory but every Friday, or maybe ever other week, I am going to upload a photo from my past, tell you a bit about it and just have a bit of a laugh. I thought it would be a good idea as it's short and sweet, something everyone enjoys looking at and just a general, all round good post. Some photos you might have already seen in my Childhood Memories post, but I thought it would be fun to maybe get them back out again. Also, the photos maybe be from last week, a year ago or fifteen years ago - the point is just a flashback Friday. Enjoy!

Haul.

To celebrate the end of exams, the beginning of summer and having a bit more money in the bank than I'm used to (that I probably should have saved...), I went on a bit of a shopping trip and bought more than my fair share of things, so thought I'd share them with you!

I'd originally gone shopping to buy a really good foundation. I've had quite a few problems with my skin so thought it was about time to treat myself. The options I had in mind were MAC, Chanel and Clinique. I hadn't really picked a specific foundation out, I was just going to have a look around. To cut a long story short, the assisstant in MAC tried to give me a foundation four shades too dark, the one in Chanel didn't even look at me and the one at Clinique spent her entire time on the phone. Not sure I'll be going back there again... Whilst I'm on the subject, do any of you recommendations for troublesome  and also very pale skin?

To make up (pun not intended) for the rather pointless trip to buy foundation, I turned my attention to clothes and other little goodies too and luckily for me, the sales had just started... Here's what I bought!
