Today I'm going to be talking about some of my favourite products from one of my favourite high-end brands; Clinique. Clinique is a brand that I was introduced to at a young age. It is a brand that my Mam has used since before I was even born so it's what I too have come to know and love. Here are some of my favourite products...

I want to travel the world. It terrifies me that I might not get to see it. I want to see it all and discover new places. I want to visit places that locals deem too tacky, visit all the famous landmarks... But I also want to get lost wandering through narrow streets, visit buildings or monuments that have been abandoned and find out why. I want to visit the seven continents and as many countries as I can. I want to see what the world has to offer.

This post was originally going to be about my time in England so far but, having looked through the photos on my camera, I realised I haven't taken nearly as many photos as I would have liked/should have. I'm currently three weeks in to a three month long stay in the U.K and I've so far visiting family in Bristol, Wales, the north-east and London. I didn't take any photos in Bristol or Wales and took the first lot of photos of London yesterday, but I did take a lot in the north-east. Most of my time was spent in Darlington, with Julia and Jed, who are like my second parents. We've already decided that, when the time comes, Jed will be the one that walks me down the aisle!

As I've already shared with you my Autumn Essentials and my Autumn make-up, I thought I'd share my top 5 Autumn nail varnishes. I use nail varnish to express myself - adding a pop of colour to an otherwise monochrome outfit or a neutral colour to a bright outfit. Like clothes, I like my nail varnish to paint my mood (pun not intended) and I always have my nails panted. I'm not ashamed to admit that my collection is rather large. Due to travelling, a lot of my nail varnishes are back at home and, boy was it hard to pick out the ones to bring with me. I did it by season. I'll be away all of Autumn and most of Winter, so I knew that I wouldn't want lots of bright colours.

My skin goes through phases: it is either very oily or very dry, no inbetween. Surprisingly, during the past few warmer months, it's been very dry which is quite surprising considering the heat wave we have been suffering through. Don't get me wrong, it's great to have dry skin during 40 degree weather but it's been hard finding a moisturiser that helps my skin feel hydrated.

This time last year, I was obsessed with chunky & statement jewellery - now, I'm now obsessed with simple jewellery. Talk about going from one extreme to the other, eh? I do still love statement jewellery, I just seem to have stopped looking for it when I go into shops. That's probably down to just how expensive it is. Now that I don't have to save my pennies to buy one necklace, I've been building my collection of simple jewellery. Here are some of my favourite pieces...

Travelling is a passion of mine. Though I haven't perhaps gone to as many places as I would like, I think that, for an 18 year old, I've still gone to many. I've travelled all over Portugal, France, England and Scotland, and I've visited quite a lot of Spain (though I'm hoping to do more!). I'm actually taking a year out to travel and here are five places that I'm hoping to visit...

Strictly Come Dancing fever hits us all at one point or another or, should I say, at one age or another. Mine happened to hit at 19, probably due to my lovely mother, who has been an avid fan of the show since the start. She recently asked me to watch it with her when I was over visiting and I became hooked on the sequins and the sparkles. I want all of the dresses. I'm actually thinking of buying a prom dress, like something from Prom Times, and going as one of the dancers. Not exactly scary, I know, but I could always add my own twist (AKA lots of fake blood and gory make-up).

You'd think, considering I moved out and started my gap year just over a week ago, that a home haul would be the last type of post to be featured on my blog. After all, I'm currently dotting around the U.K, leaving for both Paris and Berlin soon, and then heading off to Australia. Exciting, I know, but has that stopped me from buying some stuff for my 'house'? No, it, hasn't...

It's official - today is the day I set off on my travels. In fact, I'm just about to leave for the airport. My suitcases are packed and I'm ready to go. As I plan on travelling, I'm limited in what I can take. I'm taking the necessities but, as I'm so into fashion and own a lot of clothes, this has proved to be a challenge. It also means I've had to leave everything in my room behind, including my memory box (another post on that soon!). My room is like my sanctuary. I've worked hard to make it homey, cosy and to make it a space that represents me and one that I want to spend time in. As I won't actually be spending time in it for a good while, I thought I'd share some photos of my favourite things in my room. I feel like it'll be a nice post to look over when, and if, I start to feel homesick.

If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I'm constantly writing lists. No, not the type of to-do list that you're probably all used to... Think wishlists. My bookmarks are full of beauty and fashion items. My bank account doesn't actually permit me to buy many of them, so what better to do than to share some of the items I'm lusting after than in a monthly wishlist?! This month's wishlist is a high-end beauty and skin care wishlist...

Can someone please explain why I keep finding myself thinking about weddings? I think I'm going to one in November but, other than that, there's no reason for me to be thinking about them. I've even been listening to romantic songs, thinking how nice they'd sound at my own. Bit weird, considering I'm currently single. I'm guessing this is down to my brain thinking about all the wedding emails I've been sent from brands, asking me to take a look at their dresses, including Coco Melody...

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! Well, okay, it's not... But it was almost a month ago. I turned 19 and I now feel incredibly old. I love other people's birthdays, I'm just not a massive fan of my own. The whole existential crisis thing probably has something to do with that. I actually spent my final teen birthday sitting university exams - fun times! Thankfully, my birthday was made a lot better by some lovely birthday presents. Some are actually yet to arrive/be picked up, but I thought it would be nice to share what I've received with you so far anyway...

I set off for London in six days time, so most people would consider now the ideal time to plan a party - I know I did. I had planned on throwing a leaving party to say goodbye to my friends. I had everything planned; the food, the decorations, who I have going to invited... Thanks to the lovely people at Novum Crafts*, I even had a costume. I ended up not throwing the party - I think it had something to do with the fact I couldn't bare to say goodbye, even if it was going to be for a short period of time. Even so, I thought I'd share with you some of the ideas I had for the party...

Up until now, I've found monthly favourite posts to be a bit of a challenge. Living on a student budget, I've never really gone through enough beauty, skincare or fashion products to share with you each month, but that's about to change. I have no idea how, but I've really started to rotate my beauty products (and buy more), meaning new favourites and plenty to share with you all. Let's have a look at what I loved throughout September...

I think it's time we had a chat. For a while now, I haven't been very happy with my blog. I think that, along with having loads of exams, is the reason I've been dipping in and out of it... But that's all about to change! I'm about the head off on a gap year, so what better time than to start again?
