I can't believe it's been a year since everyone in my class, so many of my favourite people, were last together. I can't believe it's been a whole year since I got drunk and sang Let It Go from Frozen in my (fit) History teacher's face after one too many tequilas (true story). I can't believe it's been a whole year since I graduated. So much has changed this past year and, up until now, I haven't really felt that homesick, but I'm now looking back on all the good memories that we had, especially in that last year together, and the friendships made, both between students and students & teachers. I'm so glad we were able to have one last hurrah, even if I did make three of my bestest friends in the whole wide world cry with a letter I wrote to them, telling them I was off travelling. It's safe to say that all four of us hit the tequila after that. To celebrate it being an entire year since we graduated, I thought I'd share some photos of the day/night with you. The event started at 6pm, went on all through the night, before we finished with a rather hungover breakfast at 7am, the girls with our heels in our hands and the boys with their ties around their heads. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

May Favourites.
I've been loving writing monthly favourites posts recently. Because of trying to save money in order to put everything I have into travelling, I've been having to curb my fashion and beauty spending habits and instead have a root through my make-up bag(s) and rediscover some old favourites. As it's almost Winter and getting a bit cooler here in Australia, I've also been doing some transitioning and rotating my make-up around. Here are some of the things I've been loving this month...

Botanical Blooms* and Planning the Perfect Picnic!
The transition from Winter to Spring and then again from Spring to Summer are my favourite times of year, especially in England. There's the strong scent of wisteria, the sound of ice-cream vans (you've got to love a 99 with a flake!), florals for Spring (#groundbreaking) and people are just generally happier. One of my favourite things upon the arrival of warmer weather is to have a picnic. I mean, who doesn't love a good picnic?! Whether it's at the park or in the comfort of your own home, there are plenty of ways to make picnics even more exciting than they already are. Here's how I would plan the perfect picnic, featuring a rather dreamy pair of D&G heels...

I Think I'm in Love.
KIKO is easily my favourite make-up brand. There isn't an item I've tried that I haven't loved. It's affordable, excellent quality, long lasting... I could talk about it all day. Yes, there's NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown and other more expensive brands, but why should I spend money that I don't have on things I can't afford when I can buy something just as good for a third of the price? You probably know my love of KIKO, considering I mention them in most posts, but I still thought I'd share some of my favourite products of theirs, like I did a few months ago with Clinique products...

Thongs, Shark Tank and Vegemite.
It's got to the point where I have lost track of the days/month/time/everything. I guess that's what happens when you take a gap year and no longer have to head in to work or school. It was only when I recently decided to look at a calendar to try and work out exactly when I should go home that I realised I've now been in Australia for almost four months. That's a quarter of a year (maths was always my strong point) and, since being here, I've definitely learnt a lot. I'm not talking about finding myself on some sort of spiritual journey, I'm talking about Australia and Australians.

Clinique All About Eyes Review.
Whether it be their make-up or skincare, I've always been a fan of the brand Clinique. It's a brand that most females in my family have used and continue to use, so growing up in a household where Clinique products were considered to be staple items, it came as no surprise that I loved it too. I haven't tried as much of their make-up as I'd like (I'm desperate to try their foundation and undereye concealer!), though I do love their eyeshadows and mascara, but I've definitely tried my fair share of their skincare, including the All About Eyes range.

Memory Box #2.
Back in November, I shared a few items from my Memory Box. I wouldn't necessarily say I'm a horder, I'm just an extremely sentimental person who can't bare to throw anything away and who keeps things that others probably chucked or would chuck in the bin at first opportunity. Either way, I enjoyed the post and going through some of the things in there, so thought it was time for part two.

Is There Something I Should Know? - CocoMelody*
I'm officially scared; people keep talking to me about weddings and babies. The topics just seem to keep popping up in conversation, I'm even attending an event about "lamb babies" with a friend tonight. Is this a sign? If so, then don't think I'm ready. I don't even know if I want to get married, all I know is that, if I do, I want a really expensive designer wedding dress. Think Elie Saab or basically just something that I'm going to have to sell my right leg for (though luckily I do have pretty good legs...). Luckily Coco Melody have a great range of designer wedding dresses for more than affordable prices.

Style Crush #4 - Sienna Miller.
Sienna is one of my ultimate girl crushes. I want her wardrobe and face please. The fact that she leaves her house with messy hair and only red lipstick and mascara for make-up is my favourite thing and life goal. Though I don't particularly follow her career, I do definitely follow her wardrobe choices on various online sites. Here are some of my favourite looks of hers...

Lost in the World.
It's safe to say that I have seen and done most things that Perth has to offer. It's been fun but, if I'm honest, I'd probably have left earlier if it hadn't been for my job ($$$). Because of this, I decided it was time to head a bit further afield, just to stretch my wings, before heading east next month. My aunt, cousin and I decided it was time for a roadtrip. We didn't head too far (you can drive for three hours in Australia and still only make it to the next city), but it was far enough. We headed down to the Margaret River region, located some three to four hours away from Perth. We visited Busselton, Bunbury, Yellingup, as well as a few other places. Despite the bad weather, I still enjoyed my wet and windy walks on the beach (you can take the girl out of England, but you can't take England out of the girl). Fun fact; Australians hate rain. A bit of drizzle and they were running for the hills.

Getting Married?*
It's official - Spring has sprung and wedding season is officially upon us. I love how, year upon year, people in the UK often plan their wedding for this time of year, thinking that the sun will be shining, when, in reality, there is never any guarantee of sunshine. That being said, come rain or shine, I do love a good wedding. My favourite part is obviously deciding what to wear and, you know, love and all that. I love seeing everyone, each with their own individual style, come together and, I won't lie, I love seeing couples in matching outfits. When it comes to men's style, I think suit jackets look great at the actual wedding ceremony, but should be left at home (or in the car!) for the party afterwards - drinks get spilled or they end up getting taken off anyway. Though women spend so much time deciding what to wear, especially to weddings, I still think we have it easier. There is just so much variety! Trousers, skirts, shorts, dresses... Luckily, Paul Fredrick are here to help the lads out. Paul Fredrick offer a great range of men's pieces, so I've put a few outfits together, with pieces from their Summer collection, as well as showing you what I'd wear if it was my partner wearing those particular outfits.

May Wishlist: Nike Trainers.
It's that time of year again; the time I tell myself that Summer is looming so it's time to work out and then buy myself some new trainers from Nike that I know will be for fashion purposes and not actually to work out in, woooo. Considering I've been chasing Summer for the past 9 months and just continuously flying west/to a warmer climate, you'd think I'd be bikini body ready and not reaching for the cakes right now, but no. Maybe some new trainers will finally do the trick? (They won't).
