With the passing of another month comes another monthly favourites post! Despite not posting a monthly favourites every single month, this is easily one of my favourite types of posts to write. I've love to make one on a monthly basis but, unfortunately, I don't go through enough products nor do I have money to spent on said products. The life of being a student, eh?! I do post them every now and again though, and this just happens to be one of those occasions. I've included a great variety of items to try and include something that is to everyone's taste so I hope you enjoy!

Kendall and Kylie: Steve Madden
I think it's safe to say that Kendall and Kylie Jenner are no longer known for being the half-sisters of Kim, Khloé, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian. They are now officially stars in their own rights. The 18 and 16 year old are already spokespeople for OPI nail varnish, have their very own clothing range with Pacsun, have their own jewellery range, feature on the cover of magazines on a weekly basis and, of course, who can forget Kendall's recent success at Fashion Week? Oh, and they've written a book. And now they have a brand new venture to add to their list of accomplishments; their very own shoe and bag line with Steve Madden.

Miley Cyrus for Marc Jacobs Spring 2014 Ad Campaign
I've always been a fan of Marc Jacobs. Whether it be clothes, bags, shoes, etc. I tend like it. One of my favourite perfumes is even Marc Jacobs - Eau So Fresh. Having always enjoyed their products and ad campaigns, I was excited yet anxious to see just what they'd come up with for their new Spring 2014 ad campaign. Would they live up to those from previous years, featuring the likes of Elle Fanning, Victoria Beckham, Helena Bonham Carter or Dakota Fanning? Answer, in my opinion: no.

Mini Haul.
I love shopping. I would do it all day if I could but, unfortunately, being a poor student that has plans on moving to London sometime in the next year stops me from doing that. Oh, and the fact that my friends literally have to hold me back and pull me out of shops because there is a 512% chance that I will start stroking random items of clothes and will attempt to buy things just for the sake of buying things if I am not stopped. It's a good job my friends love me. I'd like to blame this on my love of fashion, but I do also probably have a an addiction to clothes. It could be worse. I could have had a child at 12 years old (No judgement).
Beach Stroll.
If you've seen yesterday's blog post, you'll know that as well as recently spending a day shopping with three of my favourite people, we also went for a stroll along the beach! Well, I say it was a stroll. It was more of a two mile walk to the beach and then standing in the same spot for half an hour and, in my case, getting rather sunburnt. It's hard work being as pale as I am, haha. And yes, I did wear a leather skirt, D&G watch, Pandora bracelet and a Cambridge bag knowing full well that I was going to the beach and that is something I am not ashamed of. Admittedly should I have lost or gotten a single mark on any of these items, I'd have probably crawled up in a ball and cried and/or hit someone [That last part isn't true (it definitely is)].

Shopping and a Train Ride Home With My (not so little) Faves
Saoirse, Alba and I have been best friends since the moment I arrived in Spain. Despite me being a year and half older than they are, I know I can talk to them about anything and vice versa. I think they think of me as their amazingly cool and stylish (obviously) big sister that neither of them ever had. Now that they're getting older, they're sense of humours are becoming even more hilarious and inappropriate (I'm probably to be blamed for that one) and they're blossoming into ridiculously amazing girls who are soon going to be too cool to hang out with me, though Alba and I plan on moving to London together, so she's stuck with me for a while yet. Just over a year ago, we became friends with Noelia and I feel the exact same way about her as I do about Saoirse and Alba. Now that I have a full year and a half exams ahead of me, as well as a job, I don't get to see them nearly as much as I'd like. I see them for about two hours a week, if that, and this is something that is not okay with me so, now that it's the holidays, I decided to do something about it; I planned a trip for us to go shopping and to the beach! I've separated this into two different blog posts as we took far too many photos, even with them all limited down!

Alexander Wang x HM
Swedish retailer and high-street store H&M are known for collaborating with some of the biggest names in the world of fashion. They've collaborated with everyone from Karl Lagerfeld to Stella McCartney to Isabel Marant (and more) and now they've added a new name to that ever so amazing list. Step forward; Alexander Wang. It was announced via a surprise video posted on Instagram and also at Coachella festival by the man himself on Saturday night.

Slut-Shaming.
"Slut-Shaming; Slut shaming is a concept in sexuality. It is a neologism used to describe the act of making any person feel guilty or inferior for certain sexual behaviors or desires that deviate from traditional or orthodox gender expectations, or that which may be considered to be contrary to natural or religious law. Some examples of behaviors over which women are said to be "slut-shamed" include: violating accepted dress codes by dressing in sexually provocative ways, requesting access to birth control, having premarital or casual sex, or being raped or sexually assaulted."
Childhood Memories.
As some of you may know from a post I published a few weeks ago, my best friend of over 15 years, Meg, recently came over to visit me. During the time that she was here we realised that, despite having known each other for so long, we don't have nearly as many photos of our childhoods as we would like. We could barely remember taking any, so we decided to look through some of the few photo albums that I have to see if we could find any, and we found some absolute gems.

Meg.
So this past week was supposed to be one of the best weeks of the year. My best friend of 15 years, Meg, and her mam were coming over to stay, as well as close family friends. They all arrived safe and sound but, just my luck, the day before they arrived I was struck down with some sort of flu or sinusitis. I spent four days mostly in bed, watching an unhealthy amount of TV shows and films, instead of being out and about enjoying life in the sun with my friends! Meg has spent half of her time outside getting a ridiculously good tan and the other half in my room with the shutters closed and the lights off, watching LOST.
My mood did dramatically improve when I was given a large collection of cadburys chocolate buttons, creme eggs, marshmallows, chocolate milk, DVDs and clothes though. They clearly all know the way to my heart. And yeah, I guess it was okay seeing them (kidding - it was the BEST).

Wishlist
Yes, that's right, it's time for another wishlist. Admittedly a new item (or more) seems to make it on to this list on a daily basis, but I've managed to narrow it down to just seven items. It's a miracle, I know. I've also managed to keep them (mostly) affordable and I'm sure that there's something in this list for everyone!

Riccardo Tisci for Nike
Anyone that knows me will know just how big of a fan I am of both Givenchy and creative director of said brand, Riccardo Tisci. I've probably mentioned it in a blog post before and, if not, then that is incredibly surprising considering the amount of time I spend talking to friends about how much I want this and that from Givenchy. In fact, I recently told my Mam about how I wanted to be adopted by both Anna Wintour and Riccardo himself. I don't think it went down to well.
