Swedish retailer and high-street store H&M are known for collaborating with some of the biggest names in the world of fashion. They've collaborated with everyone from Karl Lagerfeld to Stella McCartney to Isabel Marant (and more) and now they've added a new name to that ever so amazing list. Step forward; Alexander Wang. It was announced via a surprise video posted on Instagram and also at Coachella festival by the man himself on Saturday night.
"I am very honoured to be a part of H&M's designer collaborations. The world with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to pushing boundaries and to setting a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle" said Wang in a statement.
The collection, which will feature men's and women's clothing, as well as accessories, is sure to be nothing less than amazing. The range is set to be unveiled on November 6th but, despite having a while to wait, I'm sure both Alexander and H&M will be posting sneek videos and photos. The video posted to Instagram features a basketball score board, with many thinking this indicates a take on the popular sporty trend. Do you think this could be true, or just pure coincidence?
I don't know about you, but I'm already excited!
